In Hamburg, TSR in cooperation with the "Hamburg School of Business Administration" (HSBA) is offering a dual course of study in Business Administration:
Your training period at TSR
After completing the three-year cooperative education, you will have a qualification as a merchant for wholesale and foreign trade (IHK) as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Find out more about the training at TSR here.
What you need to bring with you
For the higher education entrance qualification you must have an Abitur diploma or at least a vocational diploma as well as good marks in German, mathematics and English (an average of 10 points in two school certificates). If your marks in mathematics or German do not add up to the average number of points, you will be given an HSBA entrance examination here. Since some of the lectures take place in English, you can score points with the TOEFL, IELTS or CAE. Otherwise you will have to take an English entrance examination to demonstrate a minimum level ability of B2 (according to European framework of reference).
Your lesson plan
The training consists of practical and theoretical phases – they will always alternate. On the average, you will spend 40% of your time at the HSBA and 60% in the company. During the practical phases in the company, you will pass through all of our departments systematically in order to link theoretical knowledge with practical application. In order to get you as ready as possible for the IHK examination, you will attend a preparation course on approximately 18 Saturdays during the theoretical phases. That way nothing will stand in the way of your success.
What happens after the course of study?
At least 6 months before you complete the dual training, we will get together to decide about your being taken on by the company and the objective function in an employment position within the TSR Group – appropriate to the knowledge and abilities you’ve gained.
