  • Sebastian Großmann – office management assistant in the 2nd year of his apprenticeship at TSR

    • What have you learned during your apprenticeship so far?

I’ve been able to gather both a great deal of experience and many different impressions of the business so far. I’ve worked in a number of different departments since I began my apprenticeship and I believe this is really important to be able to truly understand the various business processes.

I worked, for example, at one of the recycling plants for the first four months of my apprenticeship. The main tasks here involved accepting and assessing the incoming material. This gave me an excellent overview of the different types of metal being handled by the company. I’ve been working in the office responsible for weighing slips etc since the beginning of the year. The knowledge I gathered at the plant has already been put to good use – for example to assign the deliveries to the different categories of material. I can’t wait to find out which department I’ll be working in next.

What do you appreciate most about your apprenticeship TSR?

TSR Recycling is a very reliable and future-oriented employer. What I particularly like is the fact that TSR focuses on creating a good working environment for and between its employees – for example, by offering a range of events for its staff.

So what is your overall verdict on doing an apprenticeship at TSR?

This apprenticeship most certainly reflects the diverse, sophisticated and varied profession of an office management assistant and I very much look forward to working with the company in the future.
