Lünen, 19 February 2025. TSR’s Dutch subsidiary HKS Scrap Metals B.V. took over the ‘s-Hertogenbosch business location from Gerrits Holding Recycling B.V. on 18 February 2025.
Founded as a family-run business in 1947, Gerrits Holding Recycling B.V. is a well-known specialist for both trading in and collecting and processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Besides its
‘s-Hertogenbosch site, the company also has locations in Helmond and Venlo.
The acquisition of the ‘s-Hertogenbosch metal-shredding plant will not only enable HKS to expand its recycling capacities – the site also has an excellent logistics set-up. Located right next to the waterway heading to the ports of Rotterdam and Amsterdam and close to the motorway, it will make material flows even more efficient and help the company to further develop its business.
